I became licensed in real estate in 1986 working for Future Realty, a company that specialized in selling foreclosures and bank owned properties. It was there that I gained valuable experience working with homeowners and lenders to sell their property. In 1989 I moved to Tampa, Florida where I worked in the foreclosure and real estate owned department for Chase Manhattan Bank managing their properties nationwide.
I moved back to Minnesota in 1991 and continued my real estate career learning the investment side of foreclosure by partnering with a real estate attorney who pioneered the industry with his legal expertise. It was here where a gained extensive legal knowledge and street smarts on dealing with banks and the state statutes that apply to the Minnesota Foreclosure Process.
I later continued on my own investing in foreclosure properties and building my relationships with many of Minnesota’s foreclosure attorneys, county sheriffs and realtors.
In 2006 I decided to open Bayshore Realty and bring on agents looking to further their knowledge of this expanding foreclosure market and educating these agents with my vast knowledge of this growing industry. Since then Bayshore Realty has grown to become one of the leaders in the foreclosure and short sale market.
